My name is Matt and I hail from the western prairies of the Great White North. I relocated here from Ontario back in 2013 to go to school (but secretly I had to go see about a girl). Thankfully, that girl I can now call my wife and the mother of my child, so it definitely paid off.

At the time, I was taking Computer Engineering Technology at the local technical college, focusing on software development. Fortunately, I was able to obtain a job whilst in school doing development work for a company, maintaining their existing system but also investigating other systems that would be a fit for the business. This is where my career was kickstarted into the Dynamics ecosystem.

Working with a consulting firm, I was able to acquire knowledge and experience with Dynamics CRM and understand just how "dynamic" the system was. It was then that I was able to focus on specializing with the software and further my knowledge over the years.

I consider myself a hybrid consultant in a sense, spreading myself across various different roles and trying to learn as much as I can in them. I thoroughly enjoy working wth Powerapps Portals (formerly Dynamics Portals), doing custom development inside of the Dynamics infrastructure with a focus on C# and web-based languages, and also being a part of many project implementations from scoping to completion. I've had the opportunity to manage my own clients, take part in some high-profile projects, and enhance my knowledge, ultimately leading me to being "the guy" that everyone calls if they need something done efficiently and correctly.
